A Fashion Trend I See in the Near Future

Saturday, September 26, 2015

Hi guys!
So I've been keeping up with Milan Fashion Week Shows like it's my job. But really, I watch the Fashion Week shows almost everyday. The designs are gorgeous and I wish I could own everything that walks down the runway. A girl can dream. While watching the shows, I noticed some trends. (I also used Stylesight to look at the pictures and try to find the designs that went along with that trend.) So on the runway, I noticed a lot of designs had been made of shiny fabrics like silk. Here are some of the ones that I loved:

My favorite has to be the dark green dress with the faux fur accessory. It's perfect for Fall and I feel like it's definitely more wearable compared to the other designs.

My Favorite Bloggers

Sunday, September 20, 2015

Hi guys! Living in NYC has taught me a lot about fashion. Before moving here, I barely knew anything about designers. After being here for a year, I've learned more and more about the fashion industry. I now know what type of styles I enjoy seeing and who's pictures I like to see on my tumblr,  instagram feed and subscription box. For today's post, I'm going to talk about a few of my favorite bloggers. These bloggers may not have huge followings but I enjoy the looks the create and the way they showcase their style.

-My first favorite blog is The Fashion Citizen. Melissa and Steph, sisters from Arizona, run a channel focused on their style. They mostly create video content on youtube. They make both fashion and lifestyle videos. I like how daring they are with their style and how they are confident in whatever they choose to wear.

-Another one of my favorite bloggers is Classisinternal (Sonya Esman) She always creates bold outfits with items that I normally wouldn't pair together but I really like her style.

-Last but not least is Tess Christine. She also makes mostly video content. In her videos, she recreates celebrity's outfits and also posts her own style as well. Tess is seriously talented and has a down to earth personality that shines through in her videos.
Thanks for reading xx

Teen Vogue Back To School Trunk Party!

Sunday, September 13, 2015

Hi guys so I got the chance to host a back to school themed party sponsored by Teen Vogue! Teen Vogue sent me a trunk full of amazing products to give away at the party. The sponsors included Aeropostale, American Apparel, NYM brands, Maybelline, Lesportsac, Tampax, Staples, Other's Follow, Asos and more! I was shocked at how many things were in the trunk! It weighed over 100 pounds. They also gave me some really cute decorations to use at the party. I invited some of my friends from FIT. (where I go to school) We tried out the products while talking about how the beginning of the semester went. It was a lot of fun to catch up and look at all of the new products we had to try. Here are some of the products that were at the party. :)

This was an amazing experience, thanks to Teen Vogue for providing me with this opportunity!

Back to School : What's in my School Bag (College Edition)

Wednesday, September 2, 2015

Hi guys!
Now that its time to go back to school, everyone is picking up their supplies to get ready for the upcoming school year. I am in my second year of college at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. This year I wanted to find some cute school supplies that will both do the job and look good when they come out of my bag. I go to a fashion school so boring school supplies just won't fit the part. After searching the web for the cutest supplies, I came across two collections at Office Depot. They both had matching binders, folders, staplers, notebooks and more! Here are some of the supplies I picked up :)
I'm also giving away some of my favorite supplies from Office Depot. Check out that video here:

Thanks to HerCampus and Office Depot for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own :)
